Welcome to my life in France blog, Life on La Lune, and thank you for reading.
Life on La Lune has been going since February 2010. There’s always something new to find out and write about. I’ve made so many friends through the blog, and it’s been lovely to meet some of them in person.
I’m a self-styled history nut, history having been the subject of my first degree. It’s no surprise, then, that I’m fascinated by the history of the area where we live. I love to share this on the blog among the many other aspects of life in France.
My husband and I moved to an 18th-century farmhouse in Midi-Pyrénées (now part of Occitanie) in 1997. A lot of vin has flowed under the bridge since then, but it was the right move for us.
I ran my own business here writing for clients for 20 years, and also contributed to magazines about French life.
My focus now is on writing novels and short stories set in Southwest France and on the French island of Corsica. My published books are shown below, available from Amazon. Click the pic and it takes you to your Amazon store, where you can find out more.
